Annual foliar nutrition program for Pistachio (Updated 2022).

Purpose of the Program
This program is a combined foliar nutrition program prepared without basing it on soil and/or leaf analysis, composed of the macro and micro plant nutrients that the plant will optimally need throughout the season. All products recommended within the program are mixable and should be mixed in the given order. A jar test is recommended before application. The programs are advisory in nature and may be modified according to soil or leaf analyses. Any liabilities arising from applications belong to the user. Stage-Specific Application Program
Step-by-step, balanced nutrition applications according to the plant's growth stage.
1st Application Period
When 100% of the Leaves Have Dropped
- 100 L suya / 500 cc Copperas (5% Copper Sulfate + organic acid + L-amino acids)
- 100 L suya / 400 cc Phosforico (0-9-11 phosphite-based)
Purpose of the Application: With the application made during the leafless period, the plant will enter dormancy without being affected by adverse weather conditions.
2nd Application Period
Late January - Early February
- 100 L suya / 750 cc Copperas (5% Copper Sulfate + organic acid + L-amino acids)
- 100 L suya / 350 cc Phosforico (0-9-11 phosphite-based)
Purpose of the Application: While the plant is strengthened against fungal diseases with the application, the plant's fruit buds will be supported together with Phosforico.
Note: Detection and control of bud moth.
3rd Application Period
When 5% of the Flowers Have Opened
- 100 L Suya / 300 cc Activo (Organic + inorganic acid complex pH reducer)
- 100 L Suya / 300 cc Florista (5-20-0 + Zinc + Manganese)
- 100 L suya / 350 cc Oceano Mix (Fortified liquid seaweed + 17 amino acids)
Purpose of the Application: In a plant with 5% of its flowers open, healthy flower formation will be supported with Florista. Seasonal stress will be prevented and the plant will be prepared for healthy fruit set.
4th Application Period
First Week of April
- 100 L suya / 250 cc Aminado (8 types of free amino acids + organic matter)
- 100 L suya / 250 gr Combi (Chelated combined micronutrient (B, Cu, Fe, Mn, Mo, Zn))
Purpose of the Application: With the trace element supplementation made during this period, possible deficiencies in the plant will be prevented.
Note: Detection and control of bud moth.
5th Application Period
First Week of May
- 100 L Suya / 500 cc Copperas (5% Copper Sulfate + organic acid + L-amino acids)
- 100 L Suya / 350 cc Oceano Mix (Fortified liquid seaweed + 17 amino acids)
- 100 L Suya / 350 cc Vital (5-11-11 + Micro Element + Amino Acid)
Purpose of the Application: To prevent fungal infections that may occur with the season and to support the plant in terms of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium.
Note: Detection and control of red spider mite.
6th Application Period
First Week of June
- 100 L Suya / 350 cc Activo (Organic + inorganic acid complex pH reducer)
- 100 L suya / 250 cc Calcio (Calcium (CaO) with uptake facilitated by propionate)
- 100 L Suya / 350 cc Vital (5-11-11 + Micro Element + Amino Acid)
Purpose of the Application: To prevent fruit drop with the calcium application and to support the fruit with micro and macro nutrient elements.
Note: Detection and control of red spider mite and psyllid.
7th Application Period
2nd Week of July
- 100 L suya / 250 cc NitroZinc (15-0-0 + Zinc + Iron)
- 100 L suya / 250 cc Oceano Mix (Fortified liquid seaweed + 17 amino acids)
- 100 L suya / 300 gr SuperDrop 20-0-28 (20-0-28 + 2% MgO)
Purpose of the Application: By providing potassium to the fruit, kernel filling is supported; the nitrogen supplied during this period will support the plant's shoot mechanism.
Note: Detection and control of red spider mite and psyllid.
8th Application Period
After Harvest
- 100 L suya / 400 gr B-Zinc (Boron 11% + Zinc 8% + Manganese 2%)
- 100 L suya / 250 cc Aminado (8 types of free amino acids + organic matter)
