About the Product

Product Description

SuperDrop 20-0-28 is a water-soluble NK composite plant nutrition (fertilizer) product belonging to the Drop series, containing high levels of potassium (K₂O) and magnesium (MgO) along with nitrogen (N). It has been developed to support quality and caliber (fruit size) development by meeting the plant's potassium and magnesium needs, especially during the fruit development and ripening period. It has a practical formulation that can be applied foliarly or via soil/irrigation.

The guaranteed main nutrient elements in the product support different functions in the plant. Potassium (K₂O) is an essential element that plays a role in fruit size and quality as well as in regulating the plant's water balance, and contributes to the transport of sugars and substances. Nitrogen (N) is the nutrient element required for the plant's vegetative (green parts) development and overall growth. Magnesium oxide (MgO) is located at the center of the chlorophyll molecule, contributing to the photosynthesis process and supporting the leaves in maintaining their green color. Providing these elements in a balanced manner helps meet the plant's nutritional needs during the fruit development period.

It is used particularly on crops such as Greenhouse/Open-Field Vegetables (Tomato, Pepper, Cucumber, Eggplant, Bean, Strawberry), Leafy Winter Vegetables (Lettuce, Romaine, Cabbage, Spinach, etc.), Tuberous Plants (Potato, Melon, Watermelon, Squash, Onion, etc.), Nut Trees (Walnut, Chestnut, Pistachio, Almond, Hazelnut), Avocado, All Fruit Trees (Peach, Apricot, Cherry, Plum, Apple, Pear, Quince, Citrus, Olive, Grapevine, etc.), Industrial Crops (Cotton, Sunflower, etc.), All Legumes (Chickpea, Bean, Lentil, Soybean, etc.) and Cereals (Corn, Wheat, Barley, Rice, etc.). Applications are generally planned according to the plant's development period; for example, they may be repeated at 15-20 day intervals after the first fruits, at 15-20 day intervals starting from the 3-4 or 5-6 leaf stage, with 2-3 applications after flowering, and 1-2 applications during the stem elongation period.

In the case of potassium deficiency, yellowing and drying generally starting from the edges of older leaves may be observed, while in the case of magnesium deficiency, yellowing between the veins (chlorosis) may be observed on older leaves while the veins remain green.
