Purpose of the Program
This program is a combined foliar nutrition program prepared without basing it on soil and/or leaf analysis, composed of the macro and micro plant nutrients that the plant will optimally need throughout the season. All products recommended within the program are mixable and should be mixed in the given order. A jar test is recommended before application. The programs are advisory in nature and may be modified according to soil or leaf analyses. Any liabilities arising from applications belong to the user. The insecticides, acaricides and fungicides to be used during applications must be licensed products recommended by the Ministry. Liability for products used other than those produced by Agrotroia belongs to the user.
Warnings
- The products specified in the program must be mixed with water in the given order (1-2-3-4, etc.).
- It is recommended to carry out the application in the evening hours or on mornings without dew.
- There should be no rainfall for an average of 4 hours after the application is made.
- This nutrition program may not be copied without permission, used for purposes other than intended, or quoted.
- Agrotroia reserves the right to make changes to the nutrition program without notifying its affiliates.
Stage-Specific Application Program
Step-by-step, balanced nutrition applications according to the plant's growth stage.
1st Application Period
(October - November) After Harvest
- 100 L Water / 1000cc Copperas (5% Copper Sulfate + organic acid + L-amino acids)
- 100 L water / 250 g B-Zinc (Boron 11% + Zinc 8% + Manganese 2%)
Purpose of the Application: On trees that are not harvested, it ensures fruit maturity of the olives. On harvested trees, it repairs the damage that occurred during harvest. If Copperas is used, it provides resistance against peacock spot. It triggers shoot formation throughout the winter.
2nd Application Period
(February) Early Spring Period
- 100 L Water / 1000 cc Copperas (5% Copper Sulfate + organic acid + L-amino acids)
- 100 L water / 250 cc Phosforico (0-9-11 phosphite-based)
- 100 L water / 250 cc Liquid S-80 (Liquid sulfur (in S form) soil reclamation)
Purpose of the Application: Copperas and Phosforico enable the plant to continue its development process without being affected by winter conditions (cold resistance). In orchards with branch canker, this application takes precautions against its spread.
Note: In the early spring period, detection and control should be carried out for the leaf generation of the olive moth that may form.
3rd Application Period
(March) When Fruit Buds Become Visible
- 100 L Water / 1000 cc Copperas (5% Copper Sulfate + organic acid + L-amino acids)
- 100 L water / 250 cc Calcio (Calcium (CaO) with uptake facilitated by propionate)
- 100 L water / 250 cc Oceano Mix (Fortified liquid seaweed + 17 amino acids)
- 100 L water / 250 cc Liquid S-80 (Liquid sulfur (in S form) soil reclamation)
Purpose of the Application: The greatest risk in this period is peacock spot. The Copperas application facilitates the plant's defense against peacock spot. Calcio and Oceano Mix products will help form healthy buds followed by healthy flowers.
Note: Detection and control of the olive mite and olive worm should be carried out.
4th Application Period
Pre-Flowering (5% Flowering Period)
- 100 L Water / 250 cc Activo (Organic + inorganic acid complex pH reducer)
- 100 L water / 250 g B-Zinc (Boron 11% + Zinc 8% + Manganese 2%)
- 100 L water / 250 cc Oceano Mix (Fortified liquid seaweed + 17 amino acids)
Purpose of the Application: This is the most important period of the season that requires attention. Due to the stress that flowering puts on the plant, an incorrect application has a directly negative effect on yield. Activo and Oceano Mix protect your plant from adverse weather conditions at the onset of flowering. The Bzinc to be used in this period will provide the plant with boron, zinc and manganese and increase fruit set quality.
Note: This is a critical period for the control of the olive moth and olive mite. Detection and control must absolutely be carried out. Otherwise, loss will be inevitable.
5th Application Period
(Peppercorn Application) After the Flowers Are Shed
- 100 L Water / 250 cc New Olive 5-10-15+ME (5-10-15 + Micro Element)
- 100 L water / 250 cc Aminado (8 types of free amino acids + organic matter)
- 100 L water / 250 gr Combi (Chelated combined micronutrient (B, Cu, Fe, Mn, Mo, Zn))
Purpose of the Application: The purpose of this application is to keep the crop on the tree after fruit set and to prevent peppercorn (early fruit) drop. Olive will protect the tree against peppercorn drop. Combi and Aminado directly affect the strength of the fruit stalk.
Note: Precautions should be taken against the fruit and flower generation of the olive moth.
6th Application Period
Peppercorn Application (When the Fruits Reach Pellet Size)
- 100 L Water / 500 cc Copperas (5% Copper Sulfate + organic acid + L-amino acids)
- 100 L water / 250 cc New Olive 5-10-15+ME (5-10-15 + Micro Element)
- 100 L water / 250 cc Aminado (8 types of free amino acids + organic matter)
Purpose of the Application: Similar to the purpose of the previous application, the aim of this application is also to keep the crop on the tree. Olive keeps the crop on the shoot, and Aminado reduces the plant's stress to a minimum level. Copperas keeps the plant vigorous against possible stalk problems.
Note: Precautions should be taken against the fruit generation of the olive moth and against black scale. If necessary, appropriate control should be carried out. Note: Applications 7, 8 and 9 are for table olives. If you produce for oil, the last application you will carry out is the 6th application.
7th Application Period
July Application (Pit Hardening Period)
- 100 L Water / 250 cc New Olive 5-10-15+ME (5-10-15 + Micro Element)
- 100 L Water / 250 cc Oceano Mix (Fortified liquid seaweed + 17 amino acids)
- 100 L Water / 250 cc Calcio (Calcium (CaO) with uptake facilitated by propionate)
Purpose of the Application: The plant entering the pit hardening period obtains all the nutrient elements it needs with Olive. The Calcio to be applied enables the plant to meet its calcium requirement, thereby ensuring stable development in the fruit and pit. Oceano Mix minimizes the plant's water loss during the high temperatures that will stress the plant in this period, thereby preventing fruit drop.
Note: Necessary detection and control should be carried out against the olive fly and seedling caterpillar.
8th Application Period
(Fruit Development Period)
- 100 L Water / 500 cc Copperas (5% Copper Sulfate + organic acid + L-amino acids)
- 100 L water / 250 cc New Olive 5-10-15+ME (5-10-15 + Micro Element)
- 100 L water / 250 gr SuperDrop 20-0-28 (20-0-28 + 2% MgO)
Purpose of the Application: This is a critical period for fruit development. Olive and Drop products are a rich source of potassium for the plant. Copperas provides resistance in the plant against dew that forms due to day-night temperature differences. (Anthracnose)
Note: Necessary detection and control of the olive fly and olive mite should be carried out.
9th Application Period
(Depending on Seasonal Conditions, It Can Be Repeated 2 Times at 15-Day Intervals)
- 100 L Water / 500 cc Copperas (5% Copper Sulfate + organic acid + L-amino acids)
- 100 L water / 250 cc New Olive 5-10-15+ME (5-10-15 + Micro Element)
- 100 L water / 250 cc Aminado (8 types of free amino acids + organic matter)
Purpose of the Application: As harvest approaches, the aim is to increase the quality and yield of the crop formed on the plant. While Olive and Aminado provide the necessary yield, Copperas provides resistance against fruit drop.
Note: Necessary detection and control should be carried out for the olive fly.
