Cherry Fertilization Program
Annual foliar nutrition program for cherry (Updated 2022).
Annual foliar nutrition program for cherry (Updated 2022).

Purpose of the Program
This program is a combined foliar nutrition program prepared without basing it on soil and/or leaf analysis, composed of the macro and micro plant nutrients that the plant will optimally need throughout the season. All products recommended within the program are mixable and should be mixed in the given order. A jar test is recommended before application. The programs are advisory in nature and may be modified according to soil or leaf analyses. Any liabilities arising from applications belong to the user. The insecticides, acaricides and fungicides to be used during applications must be licensed products recommended by the Ministry. Liability for products used other than those produced by Agrotroia belongs to the user.
Warnings
- The products specified in the program must be mixed with water in the given order (1-2-3-4, etc.).
- It is recommended to carry out the application in the evening hours or on mornings without dew.
- There should be no rainfall for an average of 4 hours after the application is made.
- This nutrition program may not be copied without permission, used for purposes other than intended, or quoted.

Stage-Specific Application Program
Step-by-step, balanced nutrition applications according to the plant's growth stage.
1st Application Period
After Harvest
- 100 L Water / 500cc Activo (Organic + inorganic acid complex pH reducer)
- 100 L water / 500 cc Phosforico (0-9-11 phosphite-based)
Purpose of the Application: To minimize the effect of the harvest process on the plant, which emerges exhausted from harvest, and to prepare it for the coming season.
2nd Application Period
20-25 Days After the First Application
- 100 L Water / 500 cc Activo (Organic + inorganic acid complex pH reducer)
- 100 L water / 250 cc Phosforico (0-9-11 phosphite-based)
Purpose of the Application: The products used in this application prepare the plant for winter and prepare the fruit buds for the coming season.
3rd Application Period
After Leaf Drop
- 100 L Water / 1000 cc Copperas (5% Copper Sulfate + organic acid + L-amino acids)
Purpose of the Application: On trees that have completed leaf drop, the Copperas application enables the plant to enter a stable dormancy and to be minimally affected by the cold that will occur in this period.
4th Application Period
When Fruit Buds Become Visible
- 100 L Water / 750 cc Copperas (5% Copper Sulfate + organic acid + L-amino acids)
- 100 L water / 250 cc Phosforico (0-9-11 phosphite-based)
Purpose of the Application: The application to be carried out, Copperas and Phosforico, will feed the formed buds and encourage homogeneous and quality flower formation.
5th Application Period
When 5% of the Flowers Open
- 100 L Water / 500 cc Copperas (5% Copper Sulfate + organic acid + L-amino acids)
- 100 L water / 250 cc Florista (5-20-0 + Zinc + Manganese)
- 100 L water / 500 cc Oceano Mix (Fortified liquid seaweed + 17 amino acids)
Purpose of the Application: In this application carried out during the 5% flowering period, the nitrogen and phosphorus content in Florista encourages homogeneous flowering. Thanks to the alginic acid in Oceano Mix, it keeps the flowering and fruit set process stable. Copperas supports the plant both against monilia and in terms of fruit set.
Note: Control Should Be Carried Out Against Blossom Blight (Monilia) Disease.
6th Application Period
When Flowering Is Completed
- 100 L Water / 500 cc Copperas (5% Copper Sulfate + organic acid + L-amino acids)
- 100 L water / 250 cc Oceano Mix (Fortified liquid seaweed + 17 amino acids)
- 100 L water / 100 Gr Fors 0-15-30 (0-15-30 PK (blended))
Purpose of the Application: When flowering is completed, healthy fruit set is aimed. Copperas and Oceano Mix support the plant against fruit set and fungal diseases. Fors provides the phosphorus and potassium the plant needs in this period.
Note: Control Should Be Carried Out Against Blossom Blight (Monilia) Disease.
7th Application Period
When the Fruits Become Visible
- 100 L Water / 100 cc Activo (Organic + inorganic acid complex pH reducer)
- 100 L water / 100 gr Fors 0-15-30 (0-15-30 PK (blended))
- 100 L water / 250 cc Oceano Mix (Fortified liquid seaweed + 17 amino acids)
- 100 L water / 250 cc Calcio (Calcium (CaO) with uptake facilitated by propionate)
Purpose of the Application: The main aim of this application is to keep both fruit set and fruit quality at maximum level. With the calcium in Calcio, it increases stalk quality and prevents drops. Fors supports plant development. Oceano eliminates the stress that may occur in this period.
Note: Detection and control of pests (aphids, leaf rollers, bark beetles, web worms). Note: Detection and control of fungal diseases (monilia, shot hole, leaf curl).
8th Application Period
Fruit Development Period (7-10 Days After the 7th Application)
- 100 L Water / 250cc Copperas (5% Copper Sulfate + organic acid + L-amino acids)
- 100 L water / 250 cc Vital (5-11-11 + Micro Element + Amino Acid)
- 100 L water / 250 cc Calcio (Calcium (CaO) with uptake facilitated by propionate)
- 100 L water / 250 cc Aminado (8 types of free amino acids + organic matter)
Purpose of the Application: Copper creates a defense mechanism for the plant, whose resistance decreases against the warming weather. Vital prevents sunburn that may occur in the plant while also supporting fruit development. Calcio will prevent cracks that may occur in the fruit. Aminado will support fruit caliber development.
Note: Detection and control of pests (aphids, leaf rollers, bark beetles, web worms). Note: Detection and control of fungal diseases (monilia, shot hole, leaf curl).
9th Application Period
Fruit Development Period (7-10 Days After the 8th Application)
- 100 L Water / 250cc Copperas (5% Copper Sulfate + organic acid + L-amino acids)
- 100 L water / 250 cc Calcio (Calcium (CaO) with uptake facilitated by propionate)
- 100 L water / 250 cc SuperDrop 20-0-28 (20-0-28 + 2% MgO)
Purpose of the Application: Copper creates a defense mechanism for the plant, whose resistance decreases against the warming weather. Drop builds caliber in this period. Calcio prevents cracking and will directly affect fruit quality.
Note: Detection and control of pests (spider mites, cherry fruit fly, codling moth, aphids, leaf rollers, bark beetles, web worms). Note: Detection and control of fungal diseases (powdery mildew, monilia, shot hole, leaf curl).
